Uniform Expectations

At SR1 College Preparatory STEM Academy, we are committed to fostering a positive and effective learning environment. Our uniform policy is designed to enhance school unity and pride, minimize distractions, and allow students to focus on their academic success. This policy applies to all school days and school-sponsored events.

The administration of SR1 CPSA reserves the right to address any clothing or appearance that does not align with the uniform policy. In all cases, SR1 CPSA maintains the authority to determine what is appropriate in accordance with our established guidelines.
 

Monday – Thursday Uniform Requirements

 

Tops

  • SR1 CPSA Polo or Button-Down Shirt (SR1 Logo Branded)

  • SR1 CPSA Branded Cardigan or Fleece (Optional)

 

Bottoms

  • Khaki or Navy Dress Pants

  • SR1 CPSA Plaid Skirt

  • Khaki Skirt

 

Accessories

  • Solid black or brown belt (elastic waist pants permitted for K-1)

  • Black, White, Brown, or Gray Solid Socks or Stockings

  • Solid Black or Dark Brown Shoes (*No boots permitted*)

Friday College & School Spirit Attire

To encourage students in their educational journey toward higher learning, students may wear an college or SR1 CPSA school spirit t-shirt on Fridays. This must be paired with regular uniform pants/skirts and solid black or brown shoes.

SR1 College Preparatory STEM Academy – Uniform Guidelines

To maintain a professional and focused learning environment, all students are expected to
adhere to the following uniform expectations:

  • Uniform Compliance: Students must arrive at school dressed in the full and proper uniform. Changing into the uniform upon arrival is not permitted.

  •  Approved Apparel: Only designated uniform attire is allowed. Accessories such as scarves or other non-uniform additions are not permitted.

  • Dress Pants: Pants must be straight-leg or regular fit and made of appropriate uniform material. Denim, jean-style fabric, ripped, or frayed pants are not allowed.

  • Shirt Policy: Shirts must remain tucked in at all times throughout the school day.

  • Headwear Restrictions: Hats, head wraps, bandanas, and nighttime head coverings are prohibited inside the school building unless worn for religious purposes.

  • Outerwear: Students may wear SR1 CPSA-logo branded outerwear throughout the school day. All other jackets must be stored in bookbags upon entering the school building or classroom.

  • Footwear & Attire Restrictions: Crocs, bubble slides, Yeezy slides, leggings, biker shorts, joggers, and other non-uniform items are not permitted.

SR1 CPSA is dedicated to maintaining a structured, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment. Adherence to these guidelines ensures consistency, unity, and academic focus for all students.
