SR1 CPSA Scholars Prepare for April Testing Season

Canton, MS — As SR1 College Preparatory & STEM Academy enters the month of April, Vanguard Scholars across multiple grade levels are preparing to participate in a series of important academic assessments designed to measure student growth and progress throughout the school year.

These assessments provide valuable insight into each scholar’s academic development and help ensure they are on track for continued success. School leaders are encouraging families to partner with them during this critical time by prioritizing daily attendance and punctuality.

April Testing Schedule:

• April 1–2: ELPT (English Language Proficiency Test)

• April 14–17: 3rd Grade Gate Assessment & Math

• April 22–23: MKAS (Kindergarten)

• April 28 – May 7: iReady (Kindergarten–3rd Grade)

  
  

These assessments give scholars the opportunity to showcase what they have learned throughout the academic year. Families are encouraged to support their scholars by ensuring they get adequate rest, arrive at school on time, and feel confident and prepared each day.
