SR1 CPSA Scholars Donate Over 300 Packages of Spaghetti Noodles to Support City of Canton’s March of the Mayors Initiative.

CANTON, MISSISSIPPI — SR1 College Preparatory & STEM Academy (SR1 CPSA) proudly announces that its scholars collected more than 300 packages of spaghetti noodles in support of the City of Canton’s March of the Mayors initiative. The donation will help provide meals to individuals and families throughout the Canton community.

The service effort was led by SR1 CPSA Vanguard students, with the support of educators and staff, as part of the school’s ongoing commitment to civic engagement and community impact.

SR1 CPSA was honored to welcome Honorable Mayor Tim Taylor, who personally visited the campus to accept the donation. During his visit, Mayor Taylor met with students, educators, and staff, and toured the campus, offering words of encouragement and appreciation for the scholars’ leadership and generosity.

The March of the Mayors initiative hosted by Extra Table Feeds, unites local leaders and communities in support of hunger relief efforts. Through their participation, SR1 CPSA scholars demonstrated teamwork, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving others.

SR1 CPSA extends its gratitude to the City of Canton and Mayor Taylor for their leadership and for engaging directly with scholars to inspire a culture of service.
