SR1 College Preparatory & STEM Academy is taking a bold step toward enhancing student learning by providing each K-2nd grade student with their very own Chromebook. This initiative ensures that every child has access to digital tools that support their educational journey, regardless of background or learning level.
With these Chromebooks, students will engage in digital learning programs such as Clever and i-Ready, which offer interactive educational experiences tailored to each student’s needs. These programs assess individual strengths and weaknesses, helping to fill in learning gaps and strengthen essential skills. Whether a student needs extra support in math, reading, or other subjects, these tools provide targeted instruction to help them succeed.

Behind the scenes, Data Analyst Supraja Nair played a crucial role in programming and setting up the Chromebooks for seamless student use. By configuring the devices to integrate with Clever and i-Ready, she ensured that each student could access personalized learning resources aligned with their academic needs.
“Our goal was to make sure every student, regardless of their learning level, could immediately benefit from these digital tools,” said Supraja Nair. “By setting up the Chromebooks with adaptive learning platforms, we are helping to close learning gaps and give students the individualized support they need to succeed.”

Beyond individualized learning, this initiative helps bridge the digital divide, ensuring that all students—regardless of socioeconomic status—have equal access to technology. As education continues to evolve in the digital age, SR1 College Preparatory & STEM Academy remains committed to its dedication of excellence in STEM education, digital literacy, and student achievement.
